Evolved from Parker's Jack-knife Safety, Black & Pearl was the last color introduced before the Duofolds were streamlined in 1929. The Deluxe Duofolds came with an extra wide clip ring and a specially marked nib. This pen has a large Canadian made 14K nib with standard markings on a "Christmas Tree" feed. The matching pencil has good color but with brassing and a few minor dings. It bears the same inscription as the fountain pen. Overall this is a nice writing place-holder set.
