OMAS introduced the Marconi series in 1995 to commemorate 100 years of radio. Guglielmo Marconi, working in Italy and later in the USA, discovered radio waves in 1895 and commercialized the discovery a few years later.
This pen is in midnight blue with sterling silver bands spaced to represent radio waves. The bold cap band is inscribed "OMAS Marconi '95 QSL" and the clip is styled as a telegraph key. These large, handsome pens are piston filled and have 18kt. nibs specific to the Marconis. This is #462 of 2,800 made. It appears to be new and un-used. Sold without box and papers. (R034)
