The Pelikan 500N is the most uncommon of 500 variants, made for just eleven months in 1955-56.

This pen may actually be too clean to use casually, and I almost never say that.Everything about this pen is as perfect as can be. The guilloche is clean and crisp, the tortoise color light and clear. GSH28)

This pen is also part of a collection of mostly Pelikans that I have been asked to sell by the family of Gilly Hart, who was my first webmaster after my daughter Anna, designer of the site, went off to college. Sadly, Gilly died in February 2020 at the age of 38.
