The tortoise Pelikan 400, made from 1950-55 is a true classic. Early pens, from 1950-52 offer the classic Pelikan script nib dating back to the 1930s with some examples offering considerable flex. The later pens, featuring the more familiar logo style nibs are more general purpose. All offer a superb writing experience.
