1952-59 Pelikan 140s
Buy This Pen

Introduced in 1952, the Pelikan 140 sits between the historic school pens, for which German penmakers are known, and the 400.

The classic green 140 has the same celluloid binde (barrel band) as the 400. But oveall is just a tad smaller and diffeers, of course, in styling. The nib is 14 Karat, but just a touch smaller than its sibling. So, it is a similar functionally to the 400, but rather more affordable.

We currently have more than two dozen for you to choose from.
Year: 1952-59   Condition: Very Good+
Cap: Black celluloid   Body: Green striped celluloid
Nib: Inquire   Price: $140
Length: 4 3/4"   Flaws: Typically brassed at cap band and clip

We typically keep on hand at least a dozen of these workhorses favored by artists, writers and anyone who needs a rugged everyday, take-anywhere pen.

They almost always have EF nibs, but we do have a stock of other “exotic” nibs at a modest additional cost.

We also have sets (fountain pen and pencil) in original etuis and we sell pencils separately.
